what if burglars broke into his house and they beat up on him while he was thinking about his move ? i guess someone will say he should have had the manners to resign before calling for help.

Unfortunately human creativity is not enough to eradicate bad manners or bad behavior. It's because being bad is so easy and because some people never knew any other way.How can you eradicate that?Society can't , you think that the stuff of a chess site can?

No They can\t ,but you can support fair players so it's about the community manners ,begginer players will follow .

Robbery IS a big problem in the world today, shomakhr.

but have no fear- as you play more games and get a little more talented; you'll meet opponents that are stronger and a little more civilized.

believe it or not, strong players tend to be very serious about their game.  Low rated patzers have tandrums when they lose.

also, play longer time controls (G30) that helps as well.

That is true , the stronger the players the less rude ones you will meet. It's because the strong player cares about the game(improving , learning, practicing , testing etc.) and not about the result especially in an online live game. Also the good players as a general rule know defeat is the unavoidable part of the game and they don't see losing as a crush of their ego.If you play better chess , it's not because you are smarter , it's because you did better study and played more games.Low level players is difficult to understand that. They spend hours studying openings trying to get a slight edge and when they do they lose because they blundered all the pieces on the board. If you think of it , how can you not be angry and rude with that?

well if i see other player do be rude ,i will be ,but it's not true .It will be more successful to encourage the compotition spirit and in time bad manners will drown.

another thing is that your opponent could be playing upstairs and had the toaster on in the downstairs kitchen. then he is thinking hard how to save his bad position when suddenly he smells burning. so there you are typing into the chat box about him being a runner when all the while he is downstairs trying to stop his house from burning down.
