Thanks for the share. I'm here in BC and heard about the Banff Open from the ACA (Alberta Chess Association) but couldn't make it this year but def for next year.

 

What was the prize fund?

Hi, it was around 3k or so which included EFs + sponsorship from SoCA (Society of Chess Aficionados) and from the ACA (Alberta Chess Association), not bad for a 40 player tourney.
