Thanks. I'm just pointing out that there is a lot of misogyny in the chess community which is probably the biggest reason why not enough women play chess. We all need to do our part to make chess more inclusive. Let women play without making them feel uncomfortable or like they're outsiders. Women on this site should not have to hide their gender. And women should be able to play in OTB tournaments without being sexually harassed or told not to dress nicely cuz it "distracts the male players".
I know enuff women (Im 15 so they're pretty young) who don't like chess cuz its "too hard" or "for nerds". It has nothing to do with them not feeling comfortable wearing something tight

One time someone said my username was “gay” (I told them what gay means and kinda just stopped trash talking) and that I played chess like a retard….. I believe my elo is now higher than them

A kid told me in my messages: "You so dumb you left your door open, chess noob!" So I pulled out an AK47 from my pocket (plus atomic bomb) and shot that kid, than exploded the universe.

Until one stops arguing. I'm just watching what is going on like a TV series.
Some opponent once called me ‘Mr Boring’ or something of that nature after one game - nothing too special about that. However he had a very distinctive username and every time I played him from then on, I went out of my way to be as dull as possible. Exchange French? Yep. Petroff queen exchange variation? Yummy. Accidentally misplay any attack needing to get queens off and bail out? Oh yes. Symmetrical positions with absolutely nothing happening but easy minor piece trades leading to a dead drawn endgame? I’ll have some of that!
I must have played the guy about 40 times (although ironically only around 8 actual draws but I won a lot of drawn positions on time) before he sent me an absolute tirade about how I’d sucked all the joy out of the website and chess generally, and he was done. When I went through my messages about 9 months later and checked up on him, he hadn’t played again.
