Bizarre emails and online chess

I'm not sure if anyone is experiencing this, but it has been happening to me for a while. I get weird e-mails saying:
Hi Dear
My name is Miss Linda i saw your profile today and became intrested in you,i will also like to know you the more,and i want you to send an email to my email address so i can give you my picture for you to know whom i am
Hered is my email address,
I believe we can move from here!
I am waiting for your mail to my email address above.

That's a real email I copy and pasted from my gmail. They're good for a laugh, as I'm sure they're either scam related or something inappropriate. I was wondering if anyone had this problem? Sometimes they include in the email that they saw my profile on chess.com, so I know it's linked to this site. Also, and maybe more as a note, I've seen more rude players on live chess than before. They don't bug me, but I think it's just odd.
It's probably not directly linked to this site. You include your name in your profile, so someone who looks up your name on Google will find your profile on chess.com. The email address was likely obtained in other ways.
it is likely that you posted your email address visit on the website somewhere. maybe on your profile, or in a group, or something. evil spiders crawl the web and look for email addresses posted on the web... message me your email address and i'll take a look.
