Blitz vs Rapid Rates

Why most of players rate in blitz is more that rapid?
Probably because blitz requires less concentration than rapid in average
But as I saw it it's more normal when players have a higher rapid rating than blitz, often 200 elo in rapid because in rapid you have much more time finding out what move is good and avoid blunders. In blitz it can be too fast for many players because blitz is more pattern recognition and avoiding time trouble.

As well as your opponent
Rapid has always been my highest rating. Usually +100 or so compared to blitz
