My life could have been so much better if I had better parenting and a better environment. Now, look at me, a mess. I could have achieved a lot more with my high IQ.

I assume you are mocking me.

Chess is a game. French is a language. Different things.

He was drawing a parallel between chess and french. Both can be learned with practice. Very simple concept to understand. Most people understand what was implied here. You on the other hand seem to be confused

I'm saying that chess shouldn't be a class. Understand hidden meanings. You can't simply imply that I was confused. Not surprising coming from someone who doesn't understand science.

"Not surprising coming from someone who doesn't understand science." That is definitely a form of aggravation, don't play the hero card.

Let me remind you that it wasn't me who started all of this aggravation on this thread.

Lol. I just noticed that this low-IQ kid named Phoenix blocked me.

How many times will people explain IQ is not exactly knowledge, and how many times will you not understand?

I know that crap already. Did I say that I didn't understand?

A high IQ makes it easier for one to attain knowledge.

Do any of you know what a Putnam Fellow is?

A teenager can increase his IQ very easily: wait until he's not a teenager.

As a famous comedy routine used to say, "Teenagers have brain damage."

I'm sorry to inform you that over here you would have to pay in £ Sterling. Except me. I accept $$ if I realise that the person wasn't bright enough to bring £.

Terence Tao as a teenager didn't have brain damage.

Or as one comedian said

"kids are just retarded adults right?"

What does it mean when a low-IQ person say that a high-IQ person has a low IQ?

And for all your alleged potential, and presumably the knowledge that you've so easily gained, you are still putting stock in internet quizzes--both quizzes that measure your intelligence, and those that check for psychological disorders.

Paying money for "real" diagnoses is a burden. The WISC test costs $500. I doubt the results would be any different if I take the administered tests.

Perhaps your vast IQ will be of some help to you in that quest.

That was golden.

Chris Hirata had the highest IQ at Caltech.

Absolute legend.

When I visited high IQ groups on Facebook some 10 years ago I noticed that there was a tendency to treat it like football or chess and go on about the IQ related exploits of their idols. It goes to show that even if someone has a high IQ, they still may not know how to use it.

Contrary to what some people here may think, I don't have much of an ego in that I need to try to look good to others, so no, I wasn't mocking you. But if it would make you feel better, I could perhaps mock you slightly.

I have a high IQ, but I'm not vain about it. If you take a properly administered test under the supervision of a phychologist or psychiatrist, generally done by an assistant. They don't use "IQ", but rather your percentile.

So if your in the 99 percentile, your smarter than anybody lower than 99 percent of the population.

99.99% and higher would be the stratosphere. I'd say the average high school valadictorian, for a large school, would be at least 99.9 or higher.

FYI.. I'm just an average smart guy, borderline genius. I study hard though and that counts for a lot.

Thankyou for ignoring me. You clearly can tell I'm on your side.

The people who caused my despair told me that I need help. Nope.

Dispair? Nah, you're being a hypocrite.
