Can I quit a paused game?

I’m playing someone in a 14-day move game and we’re about even. I then made a good move. He paused the game with 13 days to move for about 2 weeks. Now, it’s down to two days and because he pays, it auto pauses (I think). Can I just quit the game with no penalty? Who wants to play with someone that won’t move for over a month??

In the game info it says that they only have 20 hours of vacation time left. After this they will not be able to pause the game. If you resign the game you will lose and lose rating because vacation is allowed so no rules are being broken. You may quit/resign a game without losing rating only if less than 4 moves each have been played. Although if this lack of progress frustrates you I might suggest 14 day/move is not the way to go. I mean, even without using vacation your opponent may make only 2 moves in a month.
