Can people stop saying 'Free Palestine' in the game chat? I just want to play.

I am new to this site but am decent in chess due to my OTB experience. My experience so far here has been good and I've had good conversations about the game in the chat after the game is over. So disabling game chat isn't an option. But I'm tired of people saying 'Free Palestine' once they see I'm from Israel. I myself am not in support of the illegal Israeli occupation in Gaza, but please don't bring it in chess, it ain't solving anything and is pointless and gets annoying beyond a point.
Switch off chat, problem solved.

Just change your flag to International; I changed mine to EU for similar reasons and the problem stopped immediately.

Hi Natalie, I completely agree with you. It would be nice if people could just play chess and get along nicely. I think comments about wars or politics are best left out of it. Some see my international flag often assume I'm Russian, which I'm not, and then they start to comment accordingly. I just mute them but I can see that it might get wearing. I hope you can keep enjoying the chess and not be put off by these comments. All the best
