Captcha - guide

Recently whenever a captcha happened forums would be filled with it. And every time I saw this happen I ignored it. So basically im gonna stop ignoring it and adress it. 

What is a captcha? 

A captcha test is a test to prevent bots from spamming, copy pasting and so on. 

Its fairly effective.

Why cant they just hack?

Hacking is like god iq brain. 

Basically how it works. 

Once in a while, chess.com will send it to eliminate bots. Why its not enforced 24/7 is to not annoy people but it will also flag bots because the bots will keep sending and will be caught. Bots are real and I have seen them. Its for your good. If you fail well rip and try again. Remember to copy and paste your message every time. "Command c + command s" (quoting a mod, batgirl) saves your page and makes sure when an important thing is sent if it fails its backed up whether its an internet issue or not. 

This is my only quality post in like 5 months and i will proceed to making more useless content after. 

chess.com i can confirm i am a human in other ways, can u please remove that captcha thing or change it to a spin the dog one or an easier one pls

Seriously...they say it is to 'stop spam'.

The ONLY time I have ever seen 'spam' is during live games IN CHAT...where jerks flood the chat  with nonsense and gifs. THIS is completely different.

Calm down Karen. Just because you haven't personally experienced spam is not a reason to assume chess.com, which I remind you is a business, is purposefully and senselessly inconveniencing its users.
