CDawgVA is NOT 900 ELO

Oh, you're right, in my 1st game vs CDawg he performed as an ELO 1900, but in my 2nd game he only played like ELO 1400 (chess.com evaluation) and I manage to chk-mate him, but with some thinking to do.. ELO 900 still feels a bit underrated, however, he does make some bad mistakes every now and then. Cheers!

Yes I am struggling a lot against it. It doesn’t seem to play any game below about 1200 rating. I am a beginner so I am used to losing but have worked my way through the bots, some with higher ratings, many on first play. Either this bot plays the specific moves I am weak against or it is mislabelled.

It's November 2025 and this bot is still way harder than 900 elo, I think it's the end game that makes it so good. I can also defeat the 1200 or 1300 bots but CDawgVA bot will beat me at least half the time.

Just destroyed this bot. IT WUZ EZ. In my opinion this bot is really at the 100 elo level. All it took to beat him was proper king development during the opening.
