Every time I use the mobile app now I get these "challenge cancelled" pop ups when I start a new game. Totally sick of it. Was expecting it to go away after a few days, but it seems to be getting worse.

It’s not working. Every couple of games I click new game and it cancels me. It’s really annoying. It’s been happening for months I was just too lazy to report it.
I fixed mine. I moved to a 15 minute game. After losing on this (
) I returned to the 10 minute games and they worked.

No, it was a very old chess.com feature- they removed it in subsequent updates because usually there were a ton of sh*t posted by people in each other's notes (evidently seen in that screenshot- last message).
