Awesome, I am in the Champions League whereby all I did was drink scotch and play bullet to work on my openings and lower my bullet rating.

Great format.

Thank-you!

I didn’t do anything special. A participation badge would of been just as nice.

May be I’ll tank my blitz rating too just to get Legends status haha late to the party….

What brand do you like? Monkey Shoulder (blend) is my daily go too, I like it half water & half scotch...no ice. It hasn't helped my chess rating. happy Apparently the name comes from a condition common years ago in the industry, from shoveling peat. I don't like smoky scotch. frustrated

I made Champion League too, without trying, just by playing. But have not made a run at Legend, from what I read in a post to advance to Legend League I would need to play bullet or blitz to get enough win points. I play 15/10 rated now, I played Rapid 10 rated exclusively when climbing the league ladder. I play mostly unrated on Daily. Congratulations!

Congrats! I remember the legend league grind that came after. I hope you're ready to loose even more points haha.

My last two bottles have been Grants 8 yo Sherry Cask Finish. Everything is getting so expensive so I have been exploring.

This one was surprisingly smooth, hints of vanilla, honey and fruits. Next to no peat.

I've never tried Grant's but it sounds interesting, I'll put it on my list. When I decided to try whiskey I bought small bottles and tried a lot of different whiskey brands, then bourbon and then scotch. I like scotch best, bourbon 2nd and whiskey 3rd. I've thought about trying some brands of tequila which is supposed to have distinctive flavors. Most of my buddies are into craft beer's & ale's. Life's an adventure. happy

I like bourbons as well, just come down to taste and mood for the night. With bourbons, I like the heat, cinnamon, spices and charred woods; neat or on ice and even in ginger ale or coke.

With whiskies, I am a little discerning because the quality is poor so you have to research on the blending process and read reviews.

I really do think variety is the spice of life.
