chat during games yes or no?

Hell is other people and that is why I keep my chat disabled. I have been called names, threatened with violence, my supposed WIFE has been threatened with assault and other niceties. All without me saying a word, just playing chess. So yeah, just disable it. You'll want to eventually anyway.

There are so many cheaters now in tournaments, should get rid about this soonest. chess. com seems no drastic actions regarding these bad members.. they should be banned to join this app..

Yeah, you are able to chat during games. But, not if it's been disabled

I often send a Hello but usually people don't respond. Especially in the faster time settings.

Most people are concentrating hard, especially in blitz or bullet. Even a few seconds spent chatting could cost the game.
