Why cant a low rated chess player like me beat > 2000 rated players in Standard chess but I can beat them in Chess 960? What's the difference?

Is it because they have a hard time playing 960 than standard chesd and its easier for me and with standard chess they rely on prepared openings???

Openings are not as useful to know than middle/end game situations. So my conclusion is that people change. You know, it happens with no explanation.
