Chess Bots & Actual Rating

I occasionally play against chess bots. I see they have fictious and rounded ratings. Why don't they have ratings fluctuate in line with their results as we do , I wonder.

Would make more fun to actually know what your are playing against.

If you agree then put up the thumbs thumbup or if against thumbdown.

Because they are pre programmed to act a certain way, they are all Stockfish with built in errors and preferences . Most of us find we can beat bots way above our actual rating.
Writing code for a real 500 elo bot is going to be difficult, even Stockfish playing at 2 levels deep (2 ply) will NEVER blunder a piece.
