If you need proof that chess.com isn’t actually serious about chess, just consider how they are slowing down your ability to play chess by forcing you to watch ads. This site isn’t about chess. It’s about money and revenue. That’s it. If they were serious about chess, they’d show ads without interrupting game play and ability to play chess. They are purposefully making it more difficult to play chess in the free tier and easier to play chess in the paid tier. It’s really too bad watching this site lose all their credibility with tactics like this. Hopefully they reverse course before people abandon for sites that are actually serious about chess. I just cancelled my 4 kids paid plans (I’m on free) and going to pursue other learning/training options for them. Great job losing customers, chess.com.

This is how business is done now, everywhere in America.

No one cares anymore, it's all about the money.

Ethics and integrity are long gone. It's all about wealth extraction, now.
