Hey all! Chess.com is looking to add another person to the team - a detail-oriented, top-quality CSS developer.
- Expert level CSS knowledge including Flexbox and Grid layout
- Expert level CSS preprocessor knowledge including SCSS and Less
- Deep understanding of managing global CSS styles with naming conventions such as BEM and SMACSS
- Familiar with cutting edge local scope CSS strategies such as CSS Modules, CSS-in-JSS, Scoped CSS
- Ability to create pixel perfect, fully responsive design implementations with minimal CSS
- Ability to comfortably build user interfaces from scratch with no frameworks, grid systems, or boilerplates
- Understanding of component based Javascript architectures such as React or Vue and the impact these have had on creating modular and locally scoped CSS patterns.
- Comfortable working in a PHP-based environment (Symfony3, Twig)
