Breaking News: v3 came out in 2013
v3 started in beta then (or close to it). It didn't become the default site until 2016 and later in the year (I think in December). I'll have to look up some old threads for a more accurate date.
But essentially we are on that same version with some cosmetic changes and they are still working through switching out the frameworks for Javascript as far as I'm aware. Again, I really wouldn't expect a major overhaul for at least a couple of years, at the earliest.
What should V4 look like?
