Out of curiousity... is there any particular reason that a chess.com blog will not work for this?
Chess Dairy

I few things, how would I sort it for one, ease of use for another. I have attempted to create one using the blog a few times and just do not like the way it turns out. I was hoping for maybe a spreadsheet that can be sorted by opening/moves,
I am really good will Excell it would be nice if we could down load Excell into this stiem that would be nice having to visit just one site for all my chess needs.
Maybe I am looking for something that is not out there yet. Until I fond what I want I will keep working on my spreadsheet till I get just what I need.
Are you still in morning my friend?

Do you have some specifics in mind for things we could add to make the blog easier to use?
If you are referring to Saturday, that was about the worst game I can ever remember watching. It will likely be weeks before I can even begin to recover.

The best thing I can recommend, until the site will run a special place just for using oneself and no more even see it and spam it,- save your Info at the Bookmarks at the Safari or Firefox!
Organize Folders and save your Info inside special sub-folders!
Or use CD+RW or DVD+ RW, either a Memory Card!

I am seeking advice on the best way to set up a personal Chess Dairy or Journal. I want to track my games and moves along with any personal notes. I would also like to be able to add other items from other places or sources. It would be nice if they were a way to sort and take games/moves. Any ideas out there? I am thinking something in Excell or maybe Word. I have asked those that run this site on more then one occassion why they do not have one that we can use. And never really received a replied to what I am looking for. Thanks in advance for your help.
Diary, not 'dairy'. Dairy = milk products. Good luck with the journal type thingy.

Ergo, everyone knows that buckeyes can't spell. If they could, they would have gone to a GOOD school.
Jeff, I use excel to track my games here. I use excel for almost everything.
Column A = Opponent
Column B = move 1.w
Column C = move 1...b
Column D = move 2.w
etc.
It works for me.
