i am not really an expert with books or opening explorers but if they share the payers names in the books i am sure you can be able to use that to find the game which was played there
Chess GM Games Finding Games?

This might be helpful though the site is bit non user friendly cause it is old but there are filters which will assist you to find games of particular player. Also chess.com master games database is there.

Jeremy Silman. "how to reasses your chess workbook" full of annotated games, from beginning club players to the best to ever push a pawn (Morphy). Also, (why Silman is my favorite chess author) he explains the positions and ideas in a way that makes sense, even to the most casual players.
Good afternoon, I recently purchased a chess book which is great and I consider really helpful but around half the chapters the games start on random moves deep into the game for example the last game I looked at started on move 43. Is there a way I can put two GM's into the explorer instead of just one? Or is there an easier way to use the explorer? I prefer to find and go through the whole games if I can
Thanks for your help
