I just found out that the change occurred because I switched browsers. I didn't know it could have that big of an effect.

What browser did you switch from/to? I use Firefox, but the only other browser I use occasionally is Chrome, but the mail doesn't work at all in that for me.

I switched from Firefox to Explorer. This had nothing to do with chess.com. Recently my computer died. I'm a starving student, and as Blanche DuBois might say, "I have always depended upon the computers of strangers".
So I'm currently using a very old hand-me-down, whose resources are stretched to the max by Firefox.
I will be getting a brand-new laptop soon, however. Hurrah for the Union !
Did Chess Mail just change? (Sometimes I miss the memos.) It has a new look, and more importantly it comes up a lot faster (on my antiquated machine, anyway).
