And cowardly too...
Chess players don’t rematch because ...

@AxeKnight:
But seriously, no one owes you a rematch. Lots of folks like to review their games while they are still fresh in their minds or only have time for one game or prefer a wide variety of opponents; whatever. I'll say it again. No one owes you a rematch.

You did a forum like this recently. Just stop. You hate our answers unless we agree with you, you hate chess players, you think they are terrible, whatever.

Because your boss won’t give you a second 10 minute bathroom break from work so shortly after the first.

WTF is he even talking about? IMs and GMs often rematch one another, they even have to, in order to gain the Norms.

GMs are too far up their own a** - especially Hikaru.
Considering the tasteless 'joke' you just made about a boss abusing their authority in a vile manner, I think it's safe to say your opinion of someone should be taken with a grain of salt.
All he cares about is money and winning.
Why can't everybody be like John Bartholomew? I watch his videos all the time.
To be the top in any game/sport like Hikaru, you have to have that sort of personality to really care about winning. If losing doesn't upset or anger you then you will never reach the No1. spot in any sport, a winning mentality is a must.

My experience is that I lose 99% of rematches no matter what color I am , my assumption is that I am not playing the same player at least half of the time. I could be wrong, but I am voicing my opinion.

When you say 'all' I am confused. Nakamura is unabashedly left-wing, preaching against corporate greed quite often during his streams, if the topic comes up. He plays for winning and excellence much more so than for money.
In the words of many a wise man/woman:
'I know men/women who care only for money but among the rest I know none who do not in any way seek it.'

+1

I never rematch. Almost never. I have played 57k live games and you will be hard pressed to find even 50 times in my games history you will find me playing the same opponent twice in a row. I just dont do rematches. It doesn't matter if I win or lose or draw, I wont rematch. Personal policy, and the reason I have that policy is that some players feel entitled to a rematch when they lose and they get nasty and send profane messages when you refuse to rematch them. "Rematch me you coward!" The most rude players on chess.com are the ones who put up a hissy fit when they lose and demand a rematch.
I used to give rematches (but I never ask for one)
Sometimes I don't have the time to rematch, other times I don't feel like rematch. But because some players hurl insults and can't take losing and throw a fit when you don't rematch them, I finally had enough and decided to never rematch whatsoever.
You are not entitled to a rematch, not with anyone. So don't act like you are.

Spot on

The OP has fallen and can’t get up by the insults, rants and verbal abuse seen about. I don’t expect to see any more posting anytime soon.
