chess puzzles are unfair
Sort:
everytime you get the puzzle right, you get +4 rating or more, or less, when you get the puzzle wrong, you get -10 rating or more, or less, i know that chess puzzles are completely useless as its just like playing sudoku.

You have to be quicker to get the maximum points… There is a target time for each of them.
I know what you mean though.
My puzzle rating is about 2100, and it is darn difficult for me : it takes me 10 mins per puzzle to gain 3/4 points, and when I miss one, I loose 12 points or more.
But that's the point ! : they are meant to be hard work !
The older system was crap, the rating completely wrong.
By default you get puzzles rated lower than your puzzle rating so you get less points for solving them right and lose more points in case of failure. There is a superb dropdown list in Settings > Gameplay > Puzzles that controls the difficulty of puzzles you get, try setting it to Hard or Extra Hard and you will get more balanced reward/penalty
