They've been working on the next version of the website (called V3) for quite awhile. It's supposed to be more like the app but I have no idea how much longer before it's released. Premium members are able to try the beta version.
I see that you've only been here 2 days and played 1 game. Hang around and give the place a chance.
Hey peeps, I've been into playing chess on my tablet and phone, and it's been working really well for the most part and been a been a pretty sleek experience on that front, but when I go to my computer and go to the chess.com website and try to play there it's just a clunky and useless mess.
It looks and feels like something from the 90's. In all honesty it is a horrible horrible website.
I don't say it to hate, I say it because it really needs to be updated.
Put in the the idea of visual themes on the website as well, and in general shape it more in line with the app, it just works so much better.
I literally pull out my tablet while sitting at the computer if I want to do chess, because the computer version is just absolutely worthless and outdated.
