I totally agree with you.
These would be great features!

I guess we have different definitions of fast. Fast to me is regularly finishing games in under a week against other fast players. I fail to see that in your games list and with a time/move over 7 hours I don't understand what you mean by fast. And there is a huge difference between 116 GIPs and 200+.
Those 7 hours is only because loads of tournament. When I come back from one, my average time goes about 1 hour up!
And if I get a fast player, I often finish a game in one go, sometimes in 2. And if it's more, it means that the opponents is slow. I spend a few hours per day on chess.com. If you want to check it out - play with me.
116 and 200 isn't such a huge difference. With 116 I was still often waiting for anyone to move, going around forums, groups etc.
A few hours a day is not enough with over 100 games going. It means you will only make one or two moves in most of your games. And taking frequent breaks for OTB tournys just slows you down more.
I see you have a high FIDE rating so you must be an up and coming great player. That is very nice and I congratulate you on being good at chess.
But fast players in my group Fast Tournaments are usually here making moves 8 hours or more every day. And most have well less than 100 games going. This way they can make 20 or more moves in each of their games every day. This is what I call fast. Not just moving fast when it is your move when you look at an single game.
Sorry for going off topic so I will again ask for Ladder and Pyramid features. These would really help groups as a lot of groups have these but most become inactive after a while as it takes so much time to maintain them manually. Plus, I feel these features would help bring the members of groups closer together as they promote playing games against fellow group members.
A few hours a day with 100 is enough. I can play 40-50 moves per game. True, if you think a few minutes per every move it's not enough. But for a few seconds it's enough.
Yes, tourneys slow down my play, so it's 7 hours, not 3 or 4. But I'm not planning any longer tourney in the following months, so it should go down to about 6 hours. And if there wasa "recent average time per move" (Erik, I ask for that), I would have about 2-3 hours.
And when I go to school, I don't have a possibility of being on 8 hours. I'm on about 3 hours a day.
Time is not an issue when playing with all the time in the world, I had well over 200+ games on the go, & no blem, but since my work situation has changed I tend to fall a wee bit behind, so what? if yous have a blem with that, that's you're blem, not a mine, yo!

Thats the "him", a huge plural one. "Him" is everyone who has a problem with time or something etc, see above =P.

Erik, keep a option such that we can go on vaction without completing the games.
vaction means there is a job which is much more important so what is the use of completing all the games when we desire to go vaction.
I don't understand. If you don't want to complete games you could resign them. If you mean going on vacation while still having moves to make in your games you can do this if you upgrade your membership.
Then what is the use of vaction? to just resign and go for a vaction.
if your putting games on vacation and playing other games at same time your playing to many games!!!! true thAT!!!!!!

You can always go on vacation when you have Games In Progress. That is what it is for. You can play them when you come back.
I think the issue prashanth21 is referring to may be with the requirement to have no pending moves before you can turn vacation on, not necessarily to have completed your games.
I think it's a problematic restriction, actually. I can see why it's there, but if you have a lot of games and many of your opponents are online (or have conditional moves) it could prove impossible to clear all of your games. I think you should actually be able to turn on vacation for games in which it is not your move immediately, and to have the rest of your games immediately go into vacation mode as soon as you've made your move in each of them.
Yes, agreed, but I'm saying that I think this particular feature for premium members is giving an unintended advantage in this case. I'm not suggesting that timeout protection be extended to non-premium users, just that the ability to turn your vacation on manually not be so hindered.
Just for fun, I'd like to be able to look tactics trainer puzzles up by the players involved in the original game the tactic came from.
Just been doing some analysis on a game I'm playing. I found a nice line & thought it would be useful to to save it in my notes. But I find it's not possible to highlight a set of moves in the analysis board (Moves tab) to then Copy & Paste them elsewhare.
Might be a nice addition to functionality.
(I'm using Firefox 3.5.3)
I disagree Karl, I could get 200 games and play very fast, I had 116 once and they were going very quickly.
