Hi, I'd like to join too if still possible. My rating is currently 1556
So when does this informal coaching program start?
My rating is: 1391. I really like the idea and could use some help, i've been playing for a little more than 6 months and need advice

I suggest that some people could be easily both mentors and learners. For example
phmilet(1915) -> promotedpawn(1569)
promotedpawn(1569) -> Clbcrosby(1136)
Why is this not starting? Should we try and pair up ourselves?
It will be difficult to implement this program. First they should devide list in three parts 1- Seniors/Coach 2-Juniors/trainee 3-Those who can fit in both roles . After publishing this list they should let players to find their coaches/trainies. Else they can ask players their field of interest, e.g. tactics,strategy,endgame , opening etc. And then try to match acording to interest. Otherwise mismatched pairs will be created.
I think that first column (900 - 1300) should be trained by the third (1600 -1900) column, so db_fan is training Mm40, eddiewsox is training Colegreen and so on..
and people from second column (1300 - 1600) should pick a person from the fourth column (1900 - 2500) and send a message "will you be my coach?" or something like this. There are a lot of people in second column but most of them forgot about this topic and only the most determined will start training.. which is ok.

For those who posted today expressing interest... read the first post. Signing up for this closed on NOVEMBER FIFTH (5TH). So you all (and me!) are kinda outta luck.
