Chess.com Site Speed - Notice Anything?

The background picture in my theme hasn't been loading, it's just a white backdrop.  Started last night.

I am finding that the pages load slower however if it's more secure this way, that makes it worth it. I have experienced numerous hack attempts through this site and I'm not even using Internet Explorer. LOL

I haven't had as many crashes since the update but it has improved  in speed which can happen at least 3 times a day if i use chrome ( which i tend to do, i find it quicker than IE8) good job erik and the team

everything has been loading really slowly for the last month for me. 30 seconds to several minutes.  including today.  emptying cache doesn't help.  no prob w/other websites.   help??

the loading speed was really slow for me two this month....i got really upste but i have to say that it has worked better the last week and i also have to say that i can feel an even bigger change tha last days so i think it works!!!

Well, I have been testing it, and it is actually much faster. Before the change was made I could sometimes see how pages were loading: first this, then that, now the images... It reminded me those old days of 56k modems!  But now the pages load at once within a second. Good!

I have to tell you that I don't feel only small changes. Telling the truth I haven't played too much these days.

That answred my question I did notice that the site here in the U.S. was slower.

It loads faster.

I guess I'm the odd man out then, still slower than ever :-(

I was soooo slow logging in I had to keep trying to log in for 2 hours but finally did it and its back to normal. (or a little faster I can't tell the diffrence because I am using my schools internet and its fast!)

Also thats why i know it was not my internet connection.

I feel the site is faster for me in the UK
