Clarification on USCF Sales Promotion

Since the USCF Sales Free Gift Promotion was announced earlier today, a number of Chess.com members have had some questions that we didn't quite anticipate. With this in mind, we will address those questions via Chess.com forums.

* Can I receive the free gift if I purchase a pre-order item like Fritz 12?
Absolutely! You can purchase Fritz 12 from USCFSales.com and use the coupon code to receive your free book. Fritz 12 will ship first thing next week, so you'll receive the free gift with your Fritz 12 & Chess Power Pack.

* How do I enter the coupon?
When you the item/s you wish to buy to your cart, you will be taken to the coupon entry page. Enter the coupon code CHESSCOM in the field and click continue. On the next page, it will show you that a $0.00 coupon was entered. That is because this coupon does not deduct anything from your current order, but rather will give you a free gift. As long as you see that $0.00 coupon on the order page, you will get your free book.

* What book will I receive?
USCF Sales has approximately 40 titles that we will be distributing to all CHESS.com eligible orders. A few of these titles were shown (book covers) in the email that you received from Chess.com. We will randomly select one of these titles to include in your order. If you have a preference (opening, endgame, historical), you are more than welcome to make a note of this in the order comments section and we will do our best to find an appropriate title. We have something for everyone.

* I added the free book I want to my cart. How do I make the site deduct the value of this book from my order?
We're sorry, but you do not have the ability to specify which book you want. As you can imagine, we can not have people selecting a brand new $29.95 book and then trying to buy a $5.00 item. The books we have are ones we've purchased in bulk, so we are able to offer them as free gifts for ALL orders. If you have a preference on which type of book you want, please let us know! We have puzzle books, opening books, endgame books, tournament and match books eligible as a free gift. Just let us know!
