the only thing funny about this thread is that it exists.
By the way. I took the L out of your name. It just seemed to fit you better.

It's always telling when the argument at hand gets brushed aside in favour of an ad hominem attack....
read what you want, ignore the rest.
like we've all said, yes it's possible. nobody here claims clock hacking isn't possible but it seems like you should take some time to get to know a site and how it works before you blaze your guns. just sayin'.
and again (for the record) most "good" blitz players (1600-1800 range) won't need a hack to beat a 1400 player. that's kinda obvious. fun that you don't recognize that.
Hey there Flagboyant. Listen up. You are clueless and I don't appreicate the vomit coming from your keyboard. Go to another thread please, you are not welcomed here.
Hey Erik, or whoever monitors this thing. I am done trying. If you want to see the hack working, please let me know. If not, I am done trying to convince a bunch of nut jobs that there are hackers in your community. What a bunch of noobs.
... By the way, Erik hasn't posted in this thread for 2 or 3 or 4 pages. Also,
for calling everyone nut jobs and noobs. People DO have feelings, you know. And again, also, who gave you all this authority??

see my gay pride california flag? calling me a fag tells more about you than it does about me son. and by the way, i don't smoke.
Huh? I was referring to the first L in your name. Sounds like a freudian slip to me there Ike. Hmmm.
Bye the way, the noobs and whackos know who they are. It was meant for the obvious trolls and instigators.
I can think of one way that is fairly simple way which, based on my understanding of how the clocks are managed, should work quite well to manipulate the clocks. For what should hopefully be pretty obvious reasons, however, I won't be disclosing it.
I just thought I'd report back that I just attempted the method I had in mind against one of the computers on Live (and then promptly resigned). It did not work at all.
There once was a man named chessocity
Who said that the clock hacks were plain to see
But some disliked his theories
So he soon switched to queries
About ilikeflag's sexuality!

There's no way you made that up, Eebster! You copied that from a book, right?

Limerick cheater!
A user who seemed quite distraught,
"The Clocks have been Hacked" (so he thought)
When asked for the proof,
Became quite aloof
"Hey, I am the expert -- you're not!"

nice
"You're not" doesn't quite fit the rhyming scheme, however. Perhaps the user should demonstrate his contempt for his foe by exclaiming "you're naught!"?
He viewed his accusers with glee;
The poster named chessocity.
Lacking in class,
Said flags wanted ass
And no-one could see it but he.
If everyone was listening, you know
There's be a chance that we could save the show
Who will be the last clown
To bring the house down?
Oh, no. Please, no. Don't let the curtain fall.
I do see connection problems, but my opponent is losing time on the clock. Are we talking about the clock actually stopping?
I've seen it. My opponent was at 0 time for a full 10 seconds (or more) before it was my move, and they received bonus time for moving, so never lost on time.
Couple the skill of physical move-and-punch with the time bonus per move and you get a barely moving clock in online chess! The mouse, trackball and pen tablet still drag, but touchscreen tablet laptops would make the moves more instantaneous. Tap and slide with no clock punching needed!
Was that what people were experiencing?
