I think the computer workout is a great idea, but it would be even better if you could set up any position to play against the computer.

I agree. But can't you do that anyway with fritz or even chessmaster

Sure, but it would be very convenient to do it on the site. I have downloaded Winboard (which is free) and you can do it there also.
