Stollen time with proof

I watched my opponents timer add time and my own timer lose time. It’s not a skill issue as I consistently suck at 400 level. Sometimes I go under of course but I’ve lost over 30 games back to back today and went from 400 plus to 200 plus in one day. It’s not a server issue because I recorded myself playing during a tournament and the timer never glitched a second. Everything was in real time and I have a video to prove it but this site only takes pictures. I hope my pics upload in order! I also have pcs of my opponent gaining points!

First two pics, the timer is set to 26:09 in the blitz tournament and it’s my turn. I have 15.7 seconds left. I played at 26:08 as you can see in the second pic and the timer went from 15 to 11! How did I lose four seconds in one second?

Next pictures are going to show that immediately after I played, my opponent took several seconds and after they played, seconds were ADDED to the clock for them! This has been happening to me ALL DAY! I DO suck at playing but not like this! 30 games? It’s the timer and here’s my proof!

when I played at 26:08, my opponent had 15.6 seconds left and when I played their time immediately went to 16.5 as you can see in the first pic. Watch how the timer changes as they take their time. This goes from 26:08 to 26:01 and at the end they GAINED seconds! At 26:02 they had 10 seconds and after they played at 26:01 it went to 12! The timer was consistent and had NO glitches! It was real time! I lost time and they gained time! How can this be resolved or at least admit that people are losing time and losing games because of it?

You’ll have to see the pics on the website with an internet browser.

I just played another game and I lost seven seconds and my opponent gained 15! I won by checkmate but it seems like that’s the only way I can win right now!

you are right!

It happens a lot.

I really don't know if this is an amateur post or an actual issue. A recording instead of multiple pics would be more convenient to assess the problem. If you're playing a time control that has increment like 5 l 5, 3 l 2, or 15 l 10, the timer will increase by the increment each move either of the players play. So for each move, you gain the increment amount of time. If you're complaining that you are not getting the increment, then it is probably some internet issue. For the first issue that you said the timer is wrong, I assume it is an internet issue because ive never had such a problem.

Happened to me, too. I had some 30 seconds on the clock and the next second I lost due to time out. Don‘t know if it was a glitch in the app🤷‍♀️

With lag, lag compensation, and potentially small disconnects, you can see what appear to be clock issues but actually are not

1gladion, I’m not sure what an amateur post is. If you can’t see the pictures, you won’t understand context and as stated above, this forum don’t take videos.

Derivatix sorry that happened to you too!

Martin, it’s not unfortunately. If you can’t see the pics, you won’t understand. If you log in thru a web browser you can see them. Lag will cause the tournament time to skip and lag, it did not.
