Confirmed Cheater is not getting banned.
If you report someone and they don't get banned after a few days then either
- There's inconclusive proof of cheating
- There's no proof of cheating
That said, discussions of cheating, potential cheating, or cheat detection are not allowed in the general forums.

I transitioned from lichess to chess.com 2 years ago. I have played countless of games here. I never suspected the cheating situation to be this bad to be honest but some recent events really opened my eyes.
A friend of mine got matched with someone who was clearny cheating (900 elo players). After he told me his suspicions I went and checked this player's profile and I immediately became suspicious. This person (currently 1000 rapid elo) has made more brilliances in a month (he started playing in August, 1 month ago) than I have made in the entirety of my account. I reported him and have been reporting him for 1 week straight. I even added him to my friend list and contacted him to play just so I can be sure. He asked me why I added him and I told him about my suspicions and he openly admitted to me that he was using stockfish "to improve" while playing. One look at his games and someone with experience can easily tell that there are games he is playing like Magnus Carlsen himself. We are talking about 99% accruacy 40 move games ( at 1000 elo). Its been a week of me reporting him every single day and nothing has happened. The anti-cheating algos and reporting system is a joke i guess. I dont understand how a 1600 player like me reports an 1000 elo player and it doesnt even get checked within a week. Is this why I am playing for a diamond membership? Where is my money going exactly? Cant even talk to live support there is none I can only send an email and get ignored. Thanks a lot.
