Corona Virus

I support the Chinese players who may be in a difficult situation now.
If any Chinese player interested to play I'll be most happy to do so.
Stay strong and safe.

This virus, like all viri, does not give a hoot what your nationality is. It is no more the fault of the Chinese than the Spanish flu of 100 years ago.  That one killed 50 million people.

For many years, medical historians and epidemiologists hypothesized that the outbreak could have started at a British army base in Étaples, France, or at Fort Riley in Kansas, where the first American cases of this new strain of flu were recorded in March of 1918.

More recently, experts have proposed a third hypothesis: The Spanish flu originated somewhere in northern China in late 1917 and swiftly moved to western Europe with the 140,000 Chinese laborers the French and British governments recruited to perform manual labor to free up troops for wartime duty.

So perhaps China can claim credit for the Spanish Flu as well.

I saw an interesting video about how viruses don't want you to die... because if their host dies they die too. The ones that kill us so bad are built for infecting animals (animals they make sick, but don't kill).

But when it's able to transfer to us, the virus doesn't know any different, and accidentally kills us.

So yeah, a dense population with a lot of animal meat around is a perfect environment for such disease to get going (maybe the first post of sock's that I can give a thumbs up).
