'Like' is youtube's way of rating a particular video.

It depends on the number of dislikes as well. Say you had 100 views, 6 likes, 4 dislikes. You have 6 out of ten positive views-hence 60%. 100 views x 60% = 60 positive views

Not true. Positive views is the percentage of likes from likes+dislikes, not from all views! Therefore, getting a dislike reduces your positive view percentage.

You are wrong, read the very first post it says positive views are calculated by total views x the % of “likes” it mentions nothing about dislikes. Also erik already clarified this(although I'm not going through all the posts to find where) when he said that dislikes have nothing to do with it. Whatever number of total views you have, your positive views will always be the number of likes you have.

then you have 48 positive views since yiu have 48 likes

Or if you want to work it out the complicated chess.com way then you have 31.37255% positive views which when you multiply it by your total views gives you 48.

I don't know why chess.com didn't just say whoever gets the most likes wins, when that's what it is, this just confuses people.
