bacon is no one. A sloppy tagging by that lion.
imbacon was a user who was fairly active in the forums. He wasn't an IM, it was more like "I am bacon." He talked about the benefits of the keto diet. He also frequently gave advice that was a bit negative (berating the player for playing badly, being too concerned with the opening, for not playing longer time controls, stuff like that).
He'd also compiled a list of good rules of thumb that included the opening principals and he'd give that advice to lower rated players.
Then one day he closed his account. Nothing to get excited about, a pretty normal guy.

I have no issue with people talking about it. I have no issue with people thinking im him. What i dont like, and what kindaspongey was doing was spamming/ruining other peoples threads. I asked him to stop, explained why and he wouldnt.

I remember IMBacon being very active during the whole Kibi era lol. So I understand IMBacon and kindaspongey are the same person or what do you guys mean?
I blocked kindaspongey a long time ago, that guy is insufferable, but tbh I never got that from IMBacon when he was posting in the disgustingly players topic. Seemed reasonable and humorous in a nihilistic way.

Apart from having no guarantee that other people will even acknowledge and recognize the new account, you have to start from scratch again.
