New here. So how do the daily games work? If I choose 1 day, does that mean that me and another player will asynchronously have 24 hours of time to complete each turn?
- Yes
So I finish my turn, then the opponents clock starts (whether they are present online or not). Then when they finish their turn, my clock starts (whether I am online or not).
- Yes
Since much of this time may result in 'dead space' where I am waiting for my turn, am I allowed to start more than one of these games concurrently? Or am I still limited to just one active game?
- Yes, you can have multiple games running concurrently. I don't think there is a cap that Chess.com enforces - you can have as many Daily games running as you can handle.
And if I choose a daily game, does it match me up fairly quick, or does it take a while to actually start the game as well?
- It should be pretty quick based on your challenge settings. (See here for more technical details: https://support.chess.com/article/361-what-is-daily-chess)

Thanks, Mike
