Just leave it as it is. It is not confusing to me and has served the community well since the site was founded.

Does anyone know when Erik will make his decision on this matter?

ChazR

...call it "nameless chess."

Knock knock...

Yereslov

I thought the common term was correspondence chess.

TheGrobe

I can't believe it took 63 pages to come up with it. It seems so obvious in hindsight.

winerkleiner

1 point to anyone who tells of the new name.

Yereslov

It's called correspondence chess.

It's even the Wikipedia title for it.

Erik needs to confirm this new name or else I will keep calling it Charlie Sheen's (Winning Chess) :)

ChazR

...perhaps, bi-polar chess...no, that's not it...bi-polar winning!

ChazR

Not everyone is diuranl!  How about "Nocturnal Chess?"

ChazR

...better yet, how about "Knightly" Chess (get it?).

''engine haven''

Well AcivilisedGentleman (nice name btw), how about setting up a separate rated Centaur pool for all the engine lovers? For at the moment they only have one place to play here and it's with YOU.

They are in an engine haven now but give them a separate pool and you and all the non engine fans can be in 'more' of a non-engine heaven. :)
