funnily enough, around that time i got a whole list of folk appear as suggested friends, there were literally hundreds
I believe the chess.com and Facebook are linked in some way. It's just possible that if someone blocked you on chess.com that it would carry over to Facebook. However I think it's unlikely. It would have to mean the person who blocked you would have to be your friend on both chess.com and on Facebook and you would have to have given them both permission on both sites which would seem to be an unlikely set of circumstances. Something else I thought of though. Are you on Yahoo email because hackers got into that site and they could be messing with your accounts
Dept of Homeland Security uses facial recognition. They probably couldn't match 2 different profile pics.
I haven't had any spam in my inbox (apparently) from you but I don't have a yahoo email address for you. I however have a yahoo account and I think I was hacked because I was getting sent spam from my own email account!
