Can you punishes the disconnect cheaters harder. It’s getting really annoying when I am winning a game and then lose due to disconnect even though I have full service /WiFi.

Your opponent's can't impact your connection. The two clients never directly connect and your connection details are not exposed to your opponent.

That said, if you haven't already updated your iOS app, you should update to the newest version 3.9.16 (2) since the previous two versions had a couple of major bugs.

Maybe they lost connection.....Also that doesn't make them win. You can't punish people for losing connection lmao.

I am sorry to insist, but this happens to me very often.
After a few seconds of opponent's inactivity, my connection drops. I open a CMD Window, ping and traceroute to 8.8.8.8 and it works fine and fast, get back to Chrome, and the connection is still broken.
Today I re-logged-in to chess.com, click on Play and managed to get back to my game.
But this happens too often and in too very specific situations to be dismissed as some sort of glitch of the "victim's"connection.

When I’m struggling with connection I disconnect from the WiFi and it seems to improve just using 4g

He means that the opponent hacks the system and makes him to lose his connection.

hello i am a victim of this too many times now

It's just a normal connection issue. It could be from the client side or between you and the server.

I've had players that are clearly loosing then they all of a sudden they loose internet connection.  After the loose of connection times out (3 min) I do not get credit for the WIN and I am assuming they do not get dinged with the lose.  These players are absolutely cheating and should be banned.

So your opponent loses connection and chess.com takes away your rating points, or does it say zero?  Do you have a link to a game like this?

It is like the game did not happen.  I do not loose point or gain the points that I should have gained for the win.

Oh in that case chess.coms servers had their restart/mantance
