Disconnecting instead of resigning.

It’s sad how often people disconnect when they don’t want to continue.  SO many sore losers.

Well, chess.com does frown upon it, and places those that have a high rate of DC'ing in the poor sports pool, and plays them against other dc'rs

Nice job standing up for all too common petty disrespectful gestures Hiram.

Dalisdair

Get some class. You took the time to stand up for bad sportsmanship.

I realize my post was futile, nothing can be done about vindictive losers and moronic trolls like you who think idiots endlessly wasting 90 seconds of my time is "their game". Chess.com would be a better place without you and all your many buddies who can't lose a simple game of chess without showing their bad nature.

You're a troll and a fool. You're too stupid to realize defending behavior that is the definition of bad sportsmanship is a problem. It's a game, for fun. People should respect each other. This is over your head. You're a troll.

And if they wish to do this?

Use your wasted time to find a cure for cancer..Jeez..if time is important to you, chess is not your game. People who disagree with you are not trolls..Remember that, pilgrim.

Disconnecting or running away from the board without resigning isn't a one of chess components.

Chill with the language...

Dalisdair

Why? Do you think disconnecting when you are losing is something positive? Ending a game by running away and wasting your opponents time for spite?

You loose less elo i think

When you come across this kind of players, report them. Actions ranging from warning to account closure are usually taken if they are fond of that behavior.

No. You lose the same amount of rating points regardless of how you lost the game.
