for an example of the subtle influence of 2 bishops overcoming bishop plus knight, look at Carlsen - Vachier-Lagrave from the recently concluded Zagreb GCT tournament. The notes to the game given at ChessBase news site give teh position after 12. Qza5 Nxa5 as equal, but at first glance I like white, as black's N is stranded at the edge of the board. Within 10 moves, black played both ...f7-f6 and ...h7-h6, making a passenger out of his Grunfeld B on g7. Carlsen made the most of his positional advantages, ad ground out the kind of win that makes a world champion. One game doesn't make Bs superior to Ns each and every time, but if you want to see how it's done, this game is a good place to start.
