If someone doesn’t have enough material to checkmate you ever it’s a draw if the other person runs out of time
I was playing a game and it was a draw even though I was up on time. The game said drawn on time and insufficient material. Ive never had a game drawn because insufficient material. No matter how down I was or my oppenent was in material, the person who's clock ran out, lost. Can anyone speak on this. After 2400 games this never happens.
