A view years ago I was using this account on chess.com. It looks that somebody else is using that account now or is it possible to get the account back?

I thought it was about the Jeroen Leertouwer account?

Can I get the dubbeltje account back. It was mine a few years ago.

Is it in use?

Avatar of KarelKegelaer

Huh?

How did I break the rules? I cannot use that account????

If you don't want to help me just say so. You are misusing the rulebook to do nothing.

I don't have the old one. That is the problem.

I just wanted the the name back. After that I don't need this one any more.

I don't want two account, I want the old one back.

Avatar of KarelKegelaer

I never had two accounts. I had to make one to access chess.com.

You are misusing the rules and now this discussion is going nowhere.

Please leave it like it is now.

This means that I have one account.

I am going to ask someone else.

Why have one account when you can have two,

That account was created in 2010 and was only used a couple of days. If you can prove that was your account then staff may allow you to access it or potentially change that account name and then change this account's username.

Thanks for the serious reaction. I don't know how I can prove it. But my real name and address is:

Maybe this will help

Nobody will kill me but thanks for the advise.

Well, I don't know what level of proof they would need but at the minimum, knowing the e-mail account used to set up the account would probably be one thing.

I'm standing outside your house right now dude lol. Never give personal info out online - remember in todays world you MUST live in ABSOLUTE AND CONSTANT FEAR of, in a rough order of threat: identity theft, hacking, terrorism, HIV/AIDS, Salmonella, SARS, Bird Flu, Swine Flu, MRSA, Mad Cow Disease/CJD, Foot and Mouth Disease, Ebola, Zika Virus, cell phone radiation, the Millenium Bug (its still lurking), mass immigration, climate change, North Korean nuclear capability, Russian military posturing, paedophiles, the global economoic crisis, comedy presidential candidate Donald Trump, your next door neighbour and that guy who looked at you a bit funny the other day. BE AFRAID!
