A view years ago I was using this account on chess.com. It looks that somebody else is using that account now or is it possible to get the account back?

If you don't want to help me just say so. You are misusing the rulebook to do nothing.

I don't have the old one. That is the problem.

I just wanted the the name back. After that I don't need this one any more.

I never had two accounts. I had to make one to access chess.com.

if you want that account back you will have to prove it is you.

Go on to settings > report problem

That account was created in 2010 and was only used a couple of days. If you can prove that was your account then staff may allow you to access it or potentially change that account name and then change this account's username.

Well, I don't know what level of proof they would need but at the minimum, knowing the e-mail account used to set up the account would probably be one thing.
