I would stick to what you know, the english is quite a difficult opening and you will face a lot of variations that will go away from what you are used to.

In 10 days i will be playing my first OTB rapid tournament. Im 1900elo on chess.com but unrated OTB.
I was wondering if i should play the Catalan (that i've been playing since 1300 onward but have never studied in depth) or should i prepare the English Opening bc i think is more likely to get opponents who are not well prepared for that.
Thoughts?
