But fortunately that they have criteria to impose, before publishing. Wiki, is not a company of personal publicity, but a place, where information must be of quality.
But this site must be open to all, in the reading of information.
English Wikipedia anti-SOPA blackout

I seldom use Wikipedia as a resource for reliable information. If it was shut down it doesn't effect me.
It is allowed to update material if you have reliable data to add.
But I agree that the censorship should not be applied.

I edited a wikipedia page once. This one:
I put in the part about Daphne du Maurier.
It's a great source for casual research. The math and econ articles are usually pretty high quality.

I live about twenty miles from Bodega Bay. We always look at the school house and the place where the Gas station blew up.
The phone booth is gone. Then we go back to Occidental's NEGRIS and have a delicious Italian dinner.
The movie is always a source of conversation.

Who care????
Anyone who uses the internet and/or opposes censorship and/or with at least half a brain, hopefully - NR

Just because Congress passes a law doesn't mean it becomes a law. It's just the first play of the game. Cystem_Phailure

Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.
The Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Please let them know how you feel. Sign this petition urging Congress to vote NO on PIPA and SOPA before it is too late.

Maybe you're willing to rely on the Supreme Court to strike this law down,Show me where I said that. I just said that if the bill passes it's not necessarily the final curtain call.

Giving it away? This is a case of the giant copyright-holding companies buying legislation and votes. What could be more American than that?
Agreed 100%!

Even if legislation passes, it doesn't mean the end of the world. The Internet censoring CDA was passed in 1996 and the Supreme Court struck it down 9-0 in 1997 before it ever took effect. The gov responded by passing the COPA, and it was ultimately struck down by the courts before it ever took effect. Just because Congress passes a law doesn't mean it becomes a law. It's just the first play of the game.

Well, you showed what I said-- it just doesn't jive with your fabricated interpretation.
Grow up.
EDIT: I note that in your second post you also omitted the fabrication that I objected to and quoted (about relying on the Supreme Court).

That's okay with me. You can not post your own autobiography there which I wanted to post it. Somebody should post your biography for them to accept it to publish it in public. That's the only web site that my name was not there. I posted my short autobiography at wiki commom but it was not shown in public. it's time for them to black out it since you can not post your own biography.

Wikipedia should close just because they won't publish pap from someone looking to make a splash for himself? As I recall, they have fairly specific criteria about who merits inclusion. One of those criteria was probably that someone else besides the author has to give a shit.
