Fast Improvement Methods ! ger from 1200 to 2200 in 6 Months

Sharing with you AdamovYuri's advice for the first 6 months. 

Here is briefly how it works. 

First month

First week: read Averbakh's pawns endgame manual. Play 5 bullet games everyday before going to bed.

Second week: read Averbakh's rooks endgame manual. Play 5 bullet games in the morning and 5 bullet games before you go to bed.

Third week: read Averbakhs minor pieces endgame manual. Play 3 blitz games before breakfast and 5 bullet games before going to bed.

Fourth week: read Averbakh's rook versus minor pieces endgame manual. Play 3 blitz games before breakfast and 3 before going to bed.

 By this time you should be rated 1500.

Second month:

First week: read Averbakh's queens endgame manual. Play 3 blitz games in the morning, 3 blitz games at noon and 5 bullet games before going to bed.

Second week: Read the book Endgame strategy by Shereshevsky. Play 3 blitz games in the morning, 3 blitz games at noon and 5 bullet games before going to bed.

Third week: Read Lars Schandorffs book Playing 1.d4 the queens gambit. Play 5 blitz games before going to bed.

Fourth week: Continue reading Lars Schandorff's book  Playing 1.d4 the queens gambit. Play 5 blitz games before going to bed.

By this time you should be 1700 player.

Third month.

First week: Read Lars Schandorff's book Playing 1.d4. The indian defences. Play 3 blitz and 3 bullet games before going to bed.

Second week: Continue reading Lars Schandorff's book Playing 1.d4. The indian defences. Play 3 blitz and 3 bullet games before going to bed.

Third week: Read Jovanka Houska's book on Caro-Kann. (but not all of it as it is huge book with many useless variations). Play 3 bullet games in the morning, 3 at noon and 3 before going to bed.

Fourth week: Keep reading Houskas book and play 3 bullet games in the morning, 3 at noon and 3 before going to bed.

By this time you should be a 1900 player.

Fourth month

First week: Read Galagher's book King's Indian Defence publ. house Everyman chess. Play 5 blitz games in the morning, 5 at noon and 5 before going to bed.

Second week: Continue studying the Galagher's book.  Play 5 blitz games in the morning, 5 at noon and 5 before going to bed.

Third week: Read Johan Hellsten's book Mastering Endgame Strategy. Play 3 bullet and 3 blitz games in the morning and 10 bullet games before going to bed.

Forth week: Continue reading Johan Hellsten's book Mastering Endgame Strategy. Play 3 bullet and 3 blitz games in the morning and 10 bullet games before going to bed.

By this time you should have reached 2000 rating.

Fifth month

First week: Continue reading Hellsten's book on endgame strategy (it's a huge book!). Play 10 bullet games in the morning, 10 blitz games at noon and 20 bullet games before going to bed.

Second week: Finish Hellsten's book. Do 5 tactics problems in the morning. Play as many bullet and blitz games as possible.

Third week: Do 5 tactics problems before breakfast.  Play as many bullet and blitz games as posslble.

Forth week:  Do 5 tactics problems before breakfast.  Play as many bullet and blitz games as posslble.

By this time you should be 2100 player.

Sixth month.

Play as many games as possible.

By this time you should be 2200 player.

You would be wise not to believe one thing that came from that moron.

Yuri is a fake. His ratings are not legit, he posts fake games claiming to beat high rated players when in reality the game was unrated and his opponent let him win. On his old account he played fake 3000 rated accounts to boost his bogus ratings then closed that account when he was exposed as a fraud. My theory for his current account is he used a chess bot to get his high ratings and now only plays unrated to keep his ratings and avoid detection. Read his threads and you will see what I mean. The dude is a total joke.

Hey give Yuri a break, he's gay porn actor, let him live his chess fantasy. ;-)

Playing and studying are both great ways to improve. But, realistically, don't expect to reach 2200 in six months.

It might be possible for some individuals, but for most mortals (especially those who have full time jobs and/or kids to raise, et cetera) hoping for that kind of a jump in playing strength, in such a short amount of time, is just a setup for disappointment.

I'd also like to point out that nowhere in this guide is it even mentioned that a player should review their own games. You definitely should review your own games if you want to maximize your improvements. Identify mistakes you made. Figure out possible solutions. Then consult an engine to see what you missed.

This step is vital, and it's not mentioned anywhere in the originally quoted advice.

But bullet games are much more about speed rather than tactics. Because of this it won't help much.

Clearly you're the one that's clueless. Anybody can get a chess bot that plays the games for you regardless of time control. Don't believe me? Google it moron.

• his rapid rise in rating CAN'T be shown on chess.com- he is a new player with only a few ratings on chess.com.

• he has only offered very simple games, one of which was proven to be a joke, as "strong wins" against strong player

• He provided a pic of the books- yes. but this is Not a private picture!  there's some kind of commercial mark on the lower left.  How do we know he even owns these books? and where's the proof he has Read ANY of them. -- yet he claims that he can read (and understand) a couple in a month.  (when other serious players say it takes much longer to understand even onee of those good books)...
