No. Chess.com was slow for me until I installed Ghostery and blocked the third party trackers that load on every page....

Today was the first day I've been on for more than a few minutes and I've been noticing some slowness off and on. I'm on the development version of Firefox and originally just thought it was my connection.
Will see if it continues tomorrow and test with another browser and see if the slowness continues.
