Can someone help me please. I was always under the impression that three consecutive moves in a row that are exactly the same resulted in a forced draw(?) On my iphone's chess.com app I am in a game with someone. I went down a rook and they gained major position on me. Then, I got myself into a position where I put them into repeated check. They have only two options, first (and most ideal) is repeatedly block the check by one of their rooks but it is the only way to not lose a piece. The other option is to block it by their other rook and lose the piece. Obviously they are not opting out to do that. I saw this position ahead and in the game and purposely fought toward it. I got here and now we have repeated the same move a billion times and the stupid chess.com app has not called it a draw. What the hell??? I figured the chess.com app of all apps would be aware of such a rule and call it a draw. But as of yet, they just let the game continuing. Can anyone help me?
