Game abandoned glitch?

I was playing black.  I moved. A few minutes later a message appeared saying game abandoned, white wins.  But I had moved.  My move showed on the board.  I was waiting for white.  When I did the game analysis, however, my final move was not registered.  My internet connection is very strong, as was whites.  I would have lost the game anyway because of a stupid blunder early on, but I was not ready to abandon.  Plus, I hate when people abandon.  I don't want to be that guy.  Has this happened to anyone else?

It happens to a lot of people occasionally.  I don't know your set up but people do occasionallyl lose their connections.   Are you using wifi? Or an ethernet connection? Or a phone app?  

I can see from your archive that it was the first time you have lost by abandonment.

I also see that you have won 9 games that way.

I play on a desktop with a strong high speed connection.  My opponent's connection was strong as well.  I'm fairly confident it wasn't a connection problem.  

I have won a few when opponents abandoned.  Some clearly had weak connections.  A couple I think were just poor sports, because their connection registered as strong.

C'est la vie.

Sometimes the connection bar doesn't catch a disconnect from the live server process. So your move was never received by the live server and when the client finally reconnected, it received the notification of loss by abandonment.

i waas wining the matxh and sudenly came match abandoed an i got -10
