I'm losing too many points due to Reconnection issue. Seems to be a problem at chess.com server & not at my end. When will they fix this issue?

The fact that you can visit other websites doesn't prove that your available connection is without lag or is stable enough to play a game without a disconnection.

Fortunately, for most people, the disconnections are small in number compared to the overall number of games played. I see that you have lost 12 games by abandonment out of 1284 rapid games you have played. That is a small percentage.

I have been a member here for a long time. There have always been a few people complaining every day that the Chess.com servers are at fault. However, there are hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions, successfully playing every day who do not make such complaints.

You should do what you can to minimize the problems on your end.

U r WRONG. The fact that I even changed from wifi to mobile mode & still the game shows as aborted is proof enough that it was not a connection issue at my end.

Connection issues can be caused due to problems on the client side, with the local ISP, between you and the site, or potentially from the site side. Many issues are caused client side.

For those the following can minimize issues.

For problems between you and the site, there's not much that can be done

There was a problem earlier that was resolved. Staff are working on fixing the root cause of the issue.

Same problem too! I was on the winning side, and my connection was fine, and the game said my opponent's time was running out. Turns out, it was my clock running out, even though it said it was my opponent's time. It totally freaked out and made me lose points. Very annoying.
